Sportwey

Building a sports organization platform from the ground up — defining the brand identity, product architecture, and design system from a blank canvas.

A sports platform, designed from scratch

Sportwey is a sports organization platform that connects players, teams, and leagues. As Chief Designer, I joined at the earliest stage — there was no brand, no product structure, and no design foundation to build on.

I owned the complete design vision: crafting the brand identity from a blank page, defining the product architecture, and establishing a design system that the whole product could be built upon.

This was an end-to-end ownership role — balancing brand strategy, product thinking, and hands-on interface design at every step.

Sportwey team
Brand identity
Created the full visual identity from scratch — logo, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines.
Product architecture
Defined the structure of the entire product — how players, teams, and leagues connect and navigate.
Design system
Built the component library and UI patterns that all product screens were designed from.
Design leadership
As Chief Designer, owned the design vision and direction across brand and product.

Structuring the product from zero

With no existing structure to build on, I defined the product architecture from scratch — mapping how players, teams and leagues relate and connect — which became the backbone every screen and flow was designed around.

Sportwey product architecture

From blank canvas to full product

01 — Brand
Identity foundation
Defined the brand from zero — logo, color system, typography, and tone. Established a visual language that felt energetic and sports-driven.
02 — Architecture
Product structure
Mapped the product architecture — how users, teams, and competitions relate — and designed the core navigation and flows.
03 — System
Design system & UI
Built a reusable component library and applied it to design the full set of product screens across mobile and web.
Sportwey brand guidelines

One project. Every hat.

Sportwey didn't have the budget for a full team — so the project demanded wearing every hat at once. Not out of choice, but out of necessity. What started as a design role became a full-spectrum ownership experience across disciplines.
